We encounter some problems (randomly) with users connected to a network that we do not manage.
Sometimes, users can not access web pages hosted by our internal servers using their web browsers.
VPN is well mounted.
We can ping servers using their IP or their FQDN, Name resolving (nslookup) also works fine.
When we enter the IP address of the server on the web browser, we've got the expected error message (only answer with the specific URL FQDN).
But when we fill the FQDN URL, the pages are not served.
I think that this is all about provocation / captive portals goal I'd like to understand what happens and if there's a way to override this issue. Do you have any ideas or suggestion about it?
I did not find the right solution from the internet.
